Hi! I'm an employee at CPFT :) However i have no clue how to apply for work experience at Addenbrookes to shadow a doctor. My partner's dad (anaesthetist) works there and i'm shy to ask him . I really would like to witness a surgery if possible as i want to train to be a surgeon.
Ive already worked as a health care assistant for 15months on an oncology ward and now i am gaining experience on a mental health ward.
I would really appreciate it if you can let me know how i can formally apply to shadow a doctor and is it possible to be present at a surgery?
