It's great that Nike actually sells AG boots on their US website. A few years ago they did not, unless you paid extra for a custom Nike By You pair.

I just hope they fixed the cracking sole plate problem last year after like a month or two mine just cracked and i lost some stud as well later in the season

The first thing I thought of when I saw the outsole was that this looks like Mizuno, if I didn’t know any better. I think they did a solid job

Safety on AG isn't just about conical studs. It's about having short studs that are numerous so that your body weight can be spread. Nikes studs are too long and too small in radius. Easy to roll your foot, especially given how narrow they are.

Is it me or vapor 16 colors are ugly except the launch color blueprint? The ones to Come in yellow and pink don't look any good

Hi Josh, would you review the turf version of the vapor? I play both on natural grass and AG. My knees are not great, and the last couple of summer, I also notice the public pitch are often very hard due to the heat. So I'm thinking switching to turf shoes to have a more comfortable experience. Thank you in advance.

Hey, I would like some help on if I should get the Nike Mercurial Vapor XVI Pro AG-Pro or the Mizuno Morelia Neo IV Beta Elite I play mostly on artificial grass and sometimes on regular grass I want to know what boots would last me longer and give me a better performance I found both boots for pretty much the same price so that isn't an issue.

I'd like to see more AG offerings at least in the "pro" tier. And/or I'd like to see a return of conical studs as more of the standard vs the exception. There's fair enough choice but you know. Most of my playing time these days is on AG. All the schools have them (around here), indoor leagues here are basically Sept - April. I'm sure for many others as well.

Hey Josh, can you comment on the difference in materials between the Black and Blue colourways? I've got them side by side and they feel different. Blue one is more smooth and glossy on the the outside and on feet it feels/sounds more plasticky. The black one feels more premium and on feet just feels better.
