Many thanks to Scream Team for supplying me with these pieces!
I used:

M A T E R I A L S

Gafquat

Bald Cap

Prosaide Adhesive

Creamy Prosaide

Red stipple Sponge

PAX Paint - Thomas Surprenant's are good, as are MEL Product's paints. If you want to make your own make sure you really investigate what is in your acrylic paints, even the 'non toxic' acrylics can have very dangerous, carcinogenic ingredients when airborne/inhaled. Liquitex is usually a safe bet as they use hues instead of actual cadmium, etc.

-Makeup Wedge BFF

99% Isopropyl Alcohol

Skin Illustrator Grunge palette

Ben Nye MediaPro Ultimate FX Palette

Bdellium Tools SFX Brushes

Filming equipment:

Canon 70D

Canon 24-70 Lens

Rode Compact Microphone (on camera)

USB microphone (voice over on computer)

This looks fantastic! The final part of the video made me think that it would be really cool if you included a little Bloopers section at the end, just a few bits during the application/removal process, when your brother was giggling or making faces :)

I love your videos!! they are so interesting and unique. What I find the most incredible is the way you explain things step by step and also explain how to remove it at the end!! Truly an amazing artist who wants her fans to understand everything and not just watch for the heck of it!!

I'm sorry this is so late! I thought I'd have time to edit at the end of October before I headed over to Sydney, but forgot that I needed to spend quite a bit of time running prosthetics to take with me for the Youtube pop up space and for IMATS (and about 30 prosthetics for a class I was teaching early November). I don't own a laptop so I couldn't edit while I was in Syd for three weeks, but to be honest I was so busy each day, being out of the house for 13 to 17 hours each day, that I wouldn't have had time to edit anyway. Now I'm back home, and will finish getting through the Halloween ones in time for Xmas :'D

This looks AMAZING!! sometimes prosaide cream looks a bit too shiny and shrinks often so I learned from Michael Spitola that you can blend the edges with a 50/50 mixture of alcohol and spirit gum, and you don't have to wait for the cream to dry!

You did an amazing job of making that opaque latex look translucent. That's very hard to do.

This is incredible! Wow, I've just finished a foam latex module at uni and it's so hard to do, you make it look effortless 😍

If this helps, I know regular latex can be dissolved with acetone, I have used that method while applying latex bald caps and prosthetic pieces before and it works very well :)

I understand the panic but its always gonna look like a shit storm until you get into the final 25% of the paint up. Its like landscaping a garden. Looks like a muddy shitehole and then slowly you see it come together.
You aced that paint job and it looked like you have been painting foam for years. Perfect application of prosthetics too. Fucking awesome work,

Love this! You are right on time, I just purchased some Pax Paints and needed a full beginning to end look at the process of painting foam latex. Can you do a foam latex tutorial with the airbrush machine, I'd be interested in seeing what you do differently. xoxo

Thank you for the removal segment.
So many how to apply videos don't address this crucial aspect.
