Get to Know Perrine's Tchimpounga Sanctuary Story of Hope

*JGI does not endorse handling or close proximity to wildlife. This represents a sanctuary context with trained professionals.*

Compassionate Perrine was rescued from the illegal wildlife trade by both the Jane Goodall Institute's Tchimpounga sanctuary staff and our partners with PALF (Wildlife Law Enforcement Project). She was in critical condition and needed urgent care. Thankfully, JGI caregivers nursed her back to health and soon she was able to be introduced to other chimpanzees around her age. Today Perrine loves to explore the sanctuary grounds and spend time with her friends.

She’s such a beautiful baby. I’m so glad the sanctuary-was able to nurse her back to health. I love that she and Zeze have such a bond. They both needed each other to heal the scars emotionally Inflicted on them. They healed each other ♥️♥️♥️

If you can't send money you could give them a Like and and Share this with a friend. Not many subs and I noticed there's only 31k .... After a year on YT only 415 Likes. I watched the first Jane Goodall video many many years ago and I'm in my 70's. Doctor Goodall Started the Rescue process and I so so wish them well and hope they continue their work with these beautiful little souls.... God bless you !

It appears as though the narrator says she suffers from *HYPERthermia* . If so, she didn't need "to share their body heat". She was overheated.

How good that now the masks have been proven to be ineffective and foolish. The faces of both humans and chimps are so lovely and so necessary to community. It. makes sense now what the Bible says, "a man lives by the lip of his neighbor, " and of course this is the "open" language of the Bible which is not only for mankind but for all creation of which we are the little brothers.
