I purchased a set of the PV420 panels on Indiegogo September 2022 and they just arrived a week ago (TD=Jan 10, 2023). Tested the panels in early afternoon here in Phoenix using my AC200 (not 200P or 200MAX) and consistently got 373 Watts for 88.8% efficiency under non-ideal conditions here in Phoenix, AZ. Ambient temperature was about 67 deg F. The four panels appear to be wired in parallel as determined by intentionally shading each panel independently. Each time, the total output dropped by approximately 25%.

I have four Goal Zero, Renogy, and Ecoflow 100w panels now for sale. LOL. I’ll keep some to pair with the 420 until I get a second 420 down the road. Portability is key.

Bluetti's PV420 has a better output than my 4 panel system so keep on token, where there's smoke there's relaxation.

Eventually some company will realize how smart it is to rate their products for what they actually deliver, not the theoretical number they might get in lab conditions. If Bluetti had simply continued calling that a 400w panel, some customers would have appreciated how well it delivers very close to the rated capacity.

Great stuff for the new year. The Solar year by HOBOTEC. Are we getting to the point that DYI by self contained batteries systems with large controlled capacity systems will be the thing. My neighbor has a quote for solar at $80, 000 grid systems????

My cousin has this panel, using the ac200, and only getting 40 watts for some reason. Clear skies, 80°F.

Portable solar panels are so expensive Jackery 200 watt is 700 dollars(i could only imagine what their 400 watt would be), Bluetti 420 is 1100 dollars, Ecoflow 400 is 1200 dollars. Are there any portable panels in a large size that do not break the bank? Having to set up 5-10 small panels is a pretty big pain just to hit 1000 watts.
