One aspect of Project 2025 that isn't getting much press is in the agriculture section: among other things they are proposing to reduce or eliminate government support of crop insurance. This could have catastrophic consequences for our food supply and will result in more and more farmers being pushed out of business resulting in a supply chain for food that is much less robust. The serious desire of the GOP to enact the Project 2025 changes can be seen in their unwillingness to renew the farm bill.

I work for an agency and looked it up in project 2025. Read through the couple dozen pages. Based on what I saw 1) they didn't have an accurate grasp of what agencies did which things 2) they wanted us to implement policies that already existed and are in place 3) some of their proposals were in contravention of other laws or 4) actually impossible to accomplish and 5) the rest were just needlessly cruel. They tout themselves as experts but this just proved how ignorant they were in their own fields of supposed expertise.

If I were to send this to my die hard Maga cousins they would ignore it. On the bright side, for the 2020 election many of my neighbors had Trump signs in their yards by this point. Haven't seen one this time. That gives me hope!
