New Tactic: Run in to the Enemy lines under stim's buff + Call down Shield Generators, letting the Enemy swarm you, call down 500k = Profit.

I wish the shield generator, the big one, was more useful. It needs more health at the very least. Maybe they can make so the bullets fired through the shield do extra damage or something idk. Its only useful against bots since bugs are melee enemies too. Its a waste of a strategem slot. Even in defense or eradicate missions I'd rather have a sentry than a shield.

It's actually amazing against bots but quickly becomes a liability once any enemy gets inside. If used right, it can not only defend but also be used to push a position. If you're having trouble entering a fortress it can give you just enough time to break a hole in the wall of enemies. Its actually at its most useful when two conditions are met 1. theres a fallback position and 2. Everyone actually fights from inside the barrier. The fallback position (usually a rock inside the generator) gives people confidence to actually step out and shoot as a team.

you can also use this combo of shield relay and 500kg in bug missions. Due to how they were programmed to react to blue stratagems, use the Shield Relay to attract the bugs, then throw a 500kg on the shield.

The main reason it didn't work the first time was because it struck the shield and the tip was poking through it, meaning the explosion was also inside the shield. If the hellbomb landed outside of the shield radius, you would have survived.
