On the Italian Riviera, an unlikely but strong friendship grows between a human being and a sea monster disguised as a human. Pixar's latest movie Luca was packed full of secrets, easter eggs, and hidden references. Crazy Nate will go over everything you missed in this weeks video. Per your request.

Luca and Alberto have all kinds of secrets and Easter eggs all around them, like the Pizza Planet truck, or the Pixar ball, there's so many easter eggs you will want to watch till the end to make sure you didn't miss any!

One Easter egg you either missed or thought wasn’t Easter egg worthy is that one of the goat fish is named “Mona Lisa”.
You can hear in the scene where Luca’s rounded up all the goat fish and he’s talking to them.

I have a theory:

At 6:44, what if Luca and Guilia were not watching the moon landing? Maybe the 2 photos are actually not from the same time, but rather one photo was taken earlier than the other, like way earlier. The photo on the right may not actually show them watching the moon landing, I think they are instead watching Alan Shepard go into space as the first American in space, on May 5, 1961, 2 years after the movie supposedly took place in 1959 (according to Wikipedia and Enrico himself). This would make sense as Luca and Guilia, who are 12 and 13 in 1959, respectively, would be 14 and 15 in 1961. Additionally, the rocket Luca is holding also kind of looks like the rocket Shepard flew in. The moon landing part of the photo may have been taken 8 years after the right photo was taken, making this more logical.

This is just my opinion from a guy who watched Luca 22 times in 18 days (June 18 to July 5).

Actually, the motor scooter wasn't invented in Italy
Scooter-like traits on motorcycles first developed in Munich, Germany in the 1900s. Then in the 1910s, the Autoped became a thing and were produced on Long Island in NY. But the Autoped didn't have a seat. Then in the 1930s, a division of Northrop Aircraft (now Northrop Grumman) in California started production of a scooter with a seat above an enclosed drivetrain.
However, the Vespa was the first scooter that was popular all around the world, because of that movie.
