The best version of If I Can Dream. Donny and Marie have
always been underrated. This was a powerful and moving version. The audience
gave them a standing ovation, which was rare for a taped TV performance. Only
Judy  Garland was able to such.

Growing up, I so loved the Osmonds! I used to use an cassette tape recorder and taped every Donny & Marie show. I would listen to them over and over. I so remember this particular show and was so amazed with the tribute they gave to Elvis. This is probably one of my all-time favorite tributes to the King! I am so glad that I am able to view it again. Thanks Dave! I have been watching so many of these clips and it all brings back so many wonderful memories!

Lovely! I'd never seen this before and I know why! This was done on the day my son (twins) were born. By the way, they were calling him Elvis in the nursery because just like Elvis his twin was born dead. My son is 42 now, the same age that we lost Elvis. (Anyone notice this tribute was done on the same date Elvis' twin granddaughters were born?) Well done! Forever, I'll miss Elvis! (And my son that didn't make it.)
