'Summer Breeze' - Isley Brothers [Digitally Remastered]

My (purchased) CD version of this song was appallingly mastered. The rhythm section was sadly lacking and there was even some distortion on one of the vocal phrases. So I spent an afternoon remastering it to try and address these issues.

I was just a child when this came out I remember my older brothers and sisters playing it on the record player mom was in the kitchen cooking and dad was drinking beer by the window he used to sit at ..it was a beautiful summers day .
Dad and Mom have been gone a long time now and us 9 kids are all in our 50's and 60s spread out between NZ Aus and Canada everytime I hear this song it takes me right back to when I was a kid and I can smell the food mom was cooking and hear the laughter and see the smiles of my older siblings faces as they enjoyed this record ..this songs like a time machine for me😪

I'll be 55 in Apr. Im from Ohio, I was raised on the isley brothers. My favorite all time group.
They have such a universal sound. Their in a lot of commercials. And their sound lives on.

I saw the Isley Bros live in Sacramento in 1974.  Sacramento is too damn hot in the Summer during the day but when the sun sets these cool breezes from the Pacific blow up the delta and cool everything down nice. So it was the night of this concert.  The sun went down, the breeze kicked in and the Isley's took the stage and we were treated to one of the best shows I was ever going to see.  They closed with this an being this was early June it set the tone for the summer to come and really, every summer since.

Back in the 90’s I got a call from the music store in Tallahassee Fl. They said Ernie Isley needed my Mesa Boogie pre amp, cause his broke down on tour.I brought it there quick! One of my top ten guitar players, no doubt, and just an amazing gentleman and human being!
