I was pressured into shaving early into high school, and it was a really weird experience. Now I only shave when I'm wearing anime girl costumes, or occasionally around the people who pressured me to since I don't want to cause trouble when I don't see someone very often. There are a lot of things I can't change since one of my parents is rather hard on me, but since I live primarily with the other parent, things have improved a bit. It was too hard being 2 separate people in high school, and now at university, there are gender neutral washrooms and other people who feel similarly.

Thank You for this video. As a tall black cis woman I am constantly gender policed by people I don't even know! I will stay optimistic that as we continue to grow and understand ourselves as a species, people will learn to be more respectful of others despite their external apperances.
