Btw lol, Lucas was #1 in Brazil at age 15. :-)) Has toured in over 20 countries, teaches classical guitar as a Professor. Plays classical, flamenco, rock, metal, mash-ups. The man is brilliant!!:-)) [And sweet-spirited nd humble. Good combos lol.]

The original composer was Ernesto Lecuono (a Composer from Mexico). The original song is derived from the style of flamenco associated with the city of Malaga, Spain. The percussive effects are called "golpes" ("strikes, " hits", or "blows") in Flamenco music Check out his other arrangements or rock and roll songs (e.g., Bohemian Rhapsody, and others). :) Thanks for the reaction!

Mesmerizing isn't he? :-)) Prof Maestro. He like Marcin Patrzalek & Lionel Yu, never plays things the traditional way: but mashes up genres, methods, techniques nd adds his own flavor, creativity nd spin. Always delightful nd amazing!!:-)))

Habe ihn gestern live gesehen. Auch diese Lied. Er ist nicht von dieser Welt. Ein unglaublicher Gitarren-Abend und danach hatte auch noch etwas Zeit für uns, ein paar Worte mit ihm zu reden.

LOL that's why you were the 1st one I heard pronouncing his name correctly. So glad you react to him, keep doing it, please ("Canción del Mariachi" Desperado, California Hotel and so many others). 🇧🇷

Yes thank you for noting that Lucas Imbiriba's Malaguena is at 3 million views in 8 months, which by anybody's standards are amazing numbers! :-))) This man is humble genius precious and sweet-spirited. :-) [Yes I follow Lucas.] And beyond outstanding Marcin Patrzalek, nd others including also brilliant genius humble Lionel Yu who is a world-class pianist combining classical with dubstep backing tracks--whoa!!:-)))

Teacher Paul, "Malagueña" is a song composed in 1933 by Cuban composer Ernesto Lecuona.

This is just beautiful, one of my favorite compositions. It is likely that every classical guitarist in the world knows it, and many of the best have recorded it. I also like to hear it sung. Connie Francis did a wildly passionate version. There were others, but I can't remember who they were.

Original was not for a movie. It’s a classic Spanish and Mexican song.

Wow! Comparing this piece to Desperado was so musically embarrassing! By the way, Lucas Imbiriba covers Desperado (Cancion de Mariachi) as well. I personally, cannot understand such kind of reaction videos. I think they should be at least a bit instructive. Shaking his head with the music and repeating "Wow! He's incredible! This is crazy! Unbelieveable!" - sorry but anybody can do this. I am sure a guitar teacher could and should do better.
