First day and first patch with the 4ms Meta Module.

The Meta Module is a hardware interface that runs patches created in VCV Rack. As a first test I made a simple patch putting together 4 instances of a Plaits clone (Audible Instruments Macro Oscillator 2) and a reverb from Airwindows.

The MM has a USB input but, as its a USB host, while you can plug a controller device to play the patch, the MM itself doesn't show up as a midi device when connected to another host - such as an iPad. So instead I'm using a Keystep connected to an iPad and using that as a midi interface to connect its DIN out to the MMs USB input via a basic DIN to USB cable. Amazingly, this actually works.

It also has the advantage of merging the midi input to the Keystep with its keyboard output. So I thought I'd run a quick test by setting up Wotja from Intermorphic to generate a 3 voice pad and use the 4th voice to improvise over that on the Keystep keyboard.

Amazingly, this also works.

(The extra patch cables in shot are from a previous patch I didn't bother breaking down. The only thing in action here is the stereo output from the MM being recorded direct to camera)
