Always loved this song my uncle Sylvester an my older brother Calvin, always got into seals&crofts music back 73'-74', when I was 10yrs old.besides hearing there songs on the am-radio stations back then, the seventies was a golden era for me now that I'm 58yrs old now❤️❤️❤️

At the time the song was at #66 on Billboard's Top 100 chart, seven weeks later it would peak at #21 {for 1 week} and it spent 12 weeks on the Top 100...
It reached #2 {for 1 week} on Billboard's Easy Listening Tracks chart, the week it was at #2, the #1 record for that week was "The Most Beautiful Girl" by Charlie Rich...
Between 1972 and 1978 the duo had twelve records on the Top 100 chart, three made the Top 10 and all three peaked at #6, "Summer Breeze" {1972}, "Diamond Girl" {1973}, and "Get Closer" {1976}...
They had three records make the Top 20, "Hummingbird" {#20 in 1973}, "I'll Play for You" {#18 in 1975}, and "You're the Love" {#18 in 1978}...
