Introducing the new Bose S1 Pro+ wireless PA system! Building on the success of its popular predecessor, the S1 Pro, this lightweight powerhouse is a great choice for singer-songwriters, DJs, and conference and worship settings. Weighing in at just 14.4 lbs and offering up to 11 hours of unplugged play time from its built-in rechargeable lithium ion battery, it's the perfect portable PA solution.

S1 Pro+'s three-channel mixer features two channels dedicated for microphones or instruments, while the third channel offers music playback via stereo 1/4" or 1/8" inputs, or wirelessly over Bluetooth. Each channel features intuitive OLED displays that offer easy access to access independent EQ, reverb, and ToneMatch controls. Even better, the OLED displays rotate with the orientation of the S1 Pro+ for effortless readout in any of the four positioning options (vertical, tilted back, horizontally or on a stand).

The free Bose Music app offers full remote control of your settings via mobile device, so you can tweak your volume, EQ, and reverb to match your space. Plus, it offers full access to the entire ToneMatch library of EQ presets.

Streamline your setup further with the optional mic/line and instrument wireless RF transmitters. Effortless pairing and reliable performance mean you can confidently head to your next gig cable-free. When not in use, the built-in wireless RF receivers double as storage and charging bays for your transmitter(s).

Add portable convenience and unmistakable Bose sound quality to your setup today!

I just got mine. Love it. I have no need to compare to others as it is perfect for what I want to do. A clean 3-channel purely wireless solution.

Why are there so many really good questions in the comments but hardly any answers? Some of the answers would really be helpful.

Heads up, the S1 pro and S1 pro+ do not wirelessly connect to each other on party mode. They are on different apps, i learned the hard way, now have to return s1 Pro+

I am using a DPA 4099 condenser mike connected to a Bose T4S then connected to channel 3 on the S1 Pro + with a TRS cable. My question relates to the best way to set the volume. Should I set the S1 Pro volume to 50% then use the mixer to set the final volume or should I set the SI Pro volume higher or lower and adjust the volume on the mixer to get the level I want?

Everything on the mixer is zero EQ since the whole purpose of this expensive microphone is to allow the guitar to sound the way it sounds unamplified except amplified and of course there is no EQ adjustment on the guitars when played unamplified.

Or should I skip the mixer altogether and plus the mike directly into the S1 (I have external phantom power) and just use that volume control? I am using the mike on my Martin 000-28EC; Ramirez Classical and Cordoba crossover.

Thanks for any input you may provide.

I have an L1 Compact which has 6 2" drivers in the column and I believe an eight inch woofer in the base unit. How does this speaker arrangement compare to the S1 Pro Plus speaker components. What are those speaker components? Also is the wattage different between the two and if so what is that difference?

So what does a bass guitar sound like when you plug into one of these? (Admittedly I play with a lot of treble turned up.)

UK launch price June 2023 for the speaker is £699. The cost of the optional wireless transmitters is £200 each so the total cost of speaker and 2 transmitters is £1100. The previous speaker is still available for £499. If you don’t need the the wireless transmitters why buy the new speaker?

Just curious, Has anyone played with an S1 and the Roland SPD X PRO or any other similar type drum pad. I like to loop on the fly and throw my drums down on the pad instead of drum machines.

Can this speaker handle the lows of the kicks but the higher frequency of the samples and stereo loops coming out of the pad?
