Our friend Dave Tous and his Shelby GT350 are back on the channel and better than ever. Dave had some issues with the 363 that was in there so he went to a high compression 302 that revs to 8,000 rpm's and it's running and sounding better that ever before so sit back and enjoy the ride...

To car manufacturers and some high end builders: THIS is Hot Rodding! No need for 1, 000+hp and bunch of turbos. THIS is real!! I need 30 minutes of driving and no talking. Music and enjoyment. Thank you sir for building this amazing Stang.

I REALLY like this man's attitude, and how the car clearly looks like he drives the absolute snot out of it. Props to him for actually enjoying his car!

That exhaust note is an angry, orchestral cacophony of barely restrained violence. Love it.

This reminds me of my first true build I ever did in 1976. I started with a 1965 Mustang coupe. Paid $400.00 for the car. 289 4sp. Took an article from Hot Rod magazine on a strip/street 289 build to my local engine builder and said built that exact motor. HR claimed the motor as built would produce 425hp+- on premium fuel. Had the T&C top loader completely rebuilt and upgraded the clutch and shifter. Added a 9" with 4.11 gears. Pistons were 12.5/1 comp, roller cam, Holley 750cfm dbl pump on an Edlebrock hi-rise. Gutted everything I could out of the car to save weight. Added a roll bar, upgraded the brakes and suspinsion. Painted it Candy Apple Red. Only got one ticket over the next two years. Best 1/4 time slip was around 11.8 on Super Stock M50/15's smoking the tires the whole way. The car looked great and sounded better. So much fun to drive. Actually met my future wife at the drag strip while racing it one weekend in 1976. Still have the wife. Car is long gone but what great memories. I put my headphones on and listened to Daves car pulling gears, close my eyes and am transported back in time. THANK YOU

The sound of this car actually gave me chills! What a build and I’m so glad it’s built to be driven HARD. Carroll would be incredibly proud!

Nothing like a pissed off small block Ford from the 1960's...Pure music.

Being a classic car fan, the mustang is impeccable and sounds great. The exhaust sound is way different from anything ive heard. Sounds like a racecar.

I love 289s and 302s. Best Ford engines of all time.

Carroll Shelby would be proud... love the original look, rough, and road ready....straight up street machine. car is badass, not a ford guy either.. but this exact combo is perfect. this is what people fell in love with back in the day

I am 76 years young, if I owned this car, I know that I would be getting Tickets often as I Love the Sound of going through the Gears in a Muscle Car. The Birth of this Mustang was my Era...

The idea that this car is driven for fun and not to be pampered in anyway is the wish there were more cars out there like this car wants to be driven a gem!

If every old school GT350 driver was like Dave the world would be a better place! Nice job building that wicked car!

It's surprising how some videos bring me such deep feelings.

Sounds, for me, access very important memories and sensations.

At a time in my life that despite not actually being depressed, it was one of the worst times mentally speaking. A lot of mental confusion, a lot of doubts, a lot of feelings, I literally couldn't stop thinking. I spent 3 or 4 days without being able to sleep more than 2 hours at a time, just thinking.

A neighbor friend of mine who has 2 houses had left his recently purchased M3 E36 in the city to do small restorations. He asked me to start the car periodically, so as not to have any more problems with the battery draining.
When I was alone with the car, which had a completely non-original and extremely noisy exhaust and I started it for the first time, I accelerated it after it warmed up and went out to drive it alone, that sound it made when I accelerated was the only thing that made my thoughts disappear. . For a few moments with him standing or walking was the only time of the day that I could not think about anything.

This moment was important for my healing.
I never felt that way again, and today I have many tools to ward off possible anxiety, and taking time to appreciate cars that I like is one of them.

This Mustang reminded me of that feeling. This loud aggressive roar, this sound of gears turning and making a sonorous evolution, this relief when changing gears and the "hiccups" it makes... it's pure therapy.

Thank you for providing this to me!

Always love an owner who encourages the guest driver to give it heaps. Made my Easter monday. Sydney, Australia, 5.0 Windsor, 5 spd Tremec, LSD, IRS, in an Aussie built Ford Falcon.

Easily the best sounding car you’ve shared with us, I appreciate both of you

What can you say but this is a real muscle car. Little beat up, old carpet and a sound that can't be beat by cars 10 times more expensive. Outstanding work!!!

The exhaust note of the last engine was beyond amazing....this engine and exhaust note is beyond cool... I could listen to his forever!

This is the way to build a classic car. I love cars like this that are not show cars and you don't mind taking it out and having fun with it. My wife's uncle has a 70' mustang with a 302 that he put a modern 5 speed in. It's nothing fancy and he daily drives it, no concern for getting it dirty.

What a unique, high strung beastly sound that car makes. I love the fact he builds his cars to drive the piss out of them as intended. Whether it's all motor or boosted, small or big block, 500 or 1000 HP +, owners that truly understand how to drive their cars is a treat our senses as viewers.
