Field training in Greece at TOMRES experimental sites

On April 9th and May 3rd 2019, two major field training events took place in Timpaki and Preveza respectively, in Greece, as part of task 5.2. The objective of the field training is for farmers that have tested the TOMRES selections (genotypes and technologies) to transfer and disseminate their experiences to other fellow farmers and advisors in order to increase the impact of research and demonstration outcomes. The training events were divided into two parts; during the first part the Greek partners of the project (GAIA and Agricultural University of Athens) presented the set-up of the demonstration experiments and the scientific results, while in the second part farmers visited the demonstration plots and learned from their participating colleagues their practical experience acquired during the second year of the TOMRES project.
