Seth has an effortless sincerity that makes everything he plays sound like it came straight from his soul...the songs he covers don't just seem like they must be originals because of his mastery of expressing flawless emotional dynamics and pacing the songs to perfection but in fact they sometimes make the originals sound like covers of him...has talent extends past having a great voice and technical skills on his guitar, he actually projects more sincerity than the authors do which is an anomaly

I was just sitting here listening to this song with my 19-mo-old buddy Reese on my lap. Me, fascinated by the vocals, passion, getting caught up in the words...Reese swinging her legs, listening to the music, also staring at the screen. Then she reached into her little cup of Alpha-Bits cereal, took one out, and offered it to Seth Avett on the screen! hahaha totally made my morning!!! Beautiful, beautiful song. Can't listen to it enough
