Part 1 of the Burning Rock Off Road Park WV Mountains trail ride footage (near Sophia, West Virginia). Almost 1,000 miles from home, with 8,000 acres of open trails to solo ride for the first time... To the top we go! Nothing better than exploring new areas. Sure was rocky for not having any spare tires tho lol. Came across what I think was an old coal mine entrance while out looking for the trail head to the technical stuff. The good action starts on day two, in Part 2.. stay tuned 👍 GoPro Hero 7 White. 🎼 by Phantogram. Riding a 2012 Yamaha YFZ-450 Carb model sport quad

I grew up riding that whole area way before it was burning rock. Burning Rock base was a slate dump back then. I'll be heading back down there in July from up here in Michigan. I can't wait to rip it up again.

Reading their info, it looks like you cannot solo machine ride. Are they strict about that?

You aren’t setting a good example for safety. No helmet? Going too fast for the terrain and visibility. Ruts in the road and large holes at high speeds may cause the ATV To flip. Good luck. Have fun.
