I have 2 Ridgebacks…amazing dogs, very stubborn and highly intelligent.
My uncle has 3 boerboels, they are the sweetest once they know you.
They think they are lap-dogs…

Rhodesian Ridgeback hands down. Get 2 Ridgebacks they are easier to manage.
I got 2 male Ridgebacks to protect my wife when I'm not home.

Stupid question. A Boerboel not willing to fight will lose. Otherwise, the Boerboel which is >twice the size will win. Sure would be an asshole move to fight any dogs intentionally, though.

The Rhodesian is too high energy and I don't trust myself to have a Boerboel under control. I really gotta know what you're doing.
A Boerboel isn't for everyone.
They're very Dominant.
