‘Do Not Fall for It': Scammers Target PG&E Customers

PG&E is sending a warning about scammers who have already taken tens of thousands of dollars from customers through phone calls. Damian Trujillo reports.

We've already been had by PG&E. They doubled our rates in January for no reason other than pure greed.

They got me 6 Saturday mornings, ago! They tried for $500 i almost did it !luckily caught on after i wired the $ to the wrong #.called my bank and they informed me its a scammer.thank god it didnt sendmi still have my money.but they got me.also they tried me again 2x once a month ago on a Saturday at 11am same time same day, haha...last week a woman with an indian accent tried me again said she was pge.dont fall for it, pge will never call you.

They will call you pretending to be Amazon, police department, social security electric department just to get information to strip you from your savings, I'm to smart for these scammers i call them out and they hang up quickly. They will try through different area codes with different numbers in order to get you.

I got a call few years ago. I told them PG&E office is close to me. I can go there right away. They told me don’t go to PG&E, instead go to 7-11 to get a cash card.
