Hey all! Today I'm sharing about my experiences in embedded software/embedded systems coding over the last 10 years. This includes high school, college, and work experiences - it doesn't include all the projects I've done because the video would be way too long then... Feel free to ask me questions in the comments section to clarify things! Cheers!

MSP430 -> MSP432 -> ESP32 -> RP2040 and now STM32! I did my Bachelor in EE and fell in love with Embedded System and just finished my masters in computer engineering. I love your videos!!

I also started as an EE and went into primarily Embedded Software. It's a fun world. The code you write has physical, and often critical, effects on the world, instead of some widget in a cloud or user device. We get the best bits of both hardware and software I think.

I started my programming/electronics journey with Visual basic (14 year old) -> Java -> python -> c++ -> c -> atmega328p -> esp8266 -> esp32 -> stm32 (now). Final exam of my EE bachelor's degree is in two days and recently got a job at a medium sized company as an Embedded system engineer focusing on iot products.

Nice to see a space for fellow embedded engineers! Recent EE graduate w/ an interest in IOT. Atmega8 -> ESP32 -> Xilinx FPGA -> STM32(now). Currently working in Telematics.

I just got into Frontend web development this year and this is Greidi telling me to be hard working, try out new stuffs, solve problems and never to stay at a job that isn't thrilling to me that's slow suicide. Thanks a bunch!

Your story is an inspiration... it feels genuine and honest; I could identify with your character as a reader reading a novel about a hero who overcame so many obstacles and conflicts to become his true self and show his inner element ...I could cite you as a role model for any aspiring engineering or technology student to imitate you and walk in your footsteps! All the best of luck!

Your first experience of making the board by hand is what kids need in the US. That was the catalyst probably. You should make a video of you doing it again. I am sure that will add fire to your channel too. Wish you the best!.

Greetings from Latvia! Just discovered your channel.

Found interesting similarities between us - also studied electrical engineering in Riga tho (did everything absolutely from scratch etc), and later transitioned to software engineering where I'm doing Java now and etc. And I'm good at it. EE kinda gave me a foundation for everything.

Your journey is quite impressive!

My 7.8 years of journey as Embedded Developer : Atmega8 -> Atmega32 -> MSP430 -> Atmel SAML21 -> Infineon XMC series -> RH850 -> Infineon Tricore TC37x. Loved your video :)

It's interesting how you mentioned your journey through trade school. Initially, I pursued graphic design but eventually dropped out of college. However, four years later, i decided to return to school to study engineering technology. This led me to a job working on drawbridges, where I gained experience in electrical work and learned how to program PLCs. Now, you're back in college pursuing a degree in computer science, but I’m considering switching to computer engineering due to my extensive experience with Arduino over the years. Additionally, in my previous job, i acquired programming skills in Python.
