Lyrics:
Boring old normal, how attractive it seems
Since life came and kicked a big hole in my dreams
Now I read all the words on the tins on the shelf
And try to remember to be kind to myself
But the days keep crawling past
Just how long can this emptiness last?

Just give me something I can fix my eyes on
A hint of hope out on the far horizon
Good days and bad days, I have no doubt
I could get by if they’d just even them out

I just can’t shake off this great weight that I feel
Get up and get dressed shouldn’t be such a big deal
Now I don’t know where things end or begin
The day of the week or the state that I’m in
But the days keep crawling past
Just how long can this emptiness last?

Spending my days like I’m lost in a fog
Got nowhere to walk that big old black dog
And I just can’t believe what this has done to my health
Don’t judge me too harshly, I can do that myself
As the days blur into one
I just can’t seem to get anything done

Oh man...as someone clinically diagnosed I've got to say this one nails it. Absolutely fucking nails it! Billy on his own and then that last chorus where there are other voices added. Man, some days I just need a reminder that I'm not alone. "A hint of hope indeed..."

Giving the Black Dog a pat, he doesn't know any better so may as well be kind to him hey.

Gifted something I didn't know I needed. Thank you.

Hey Billy. There's this whole working class movement around the world this month. You may have heard about the Canadian truckers and the convoy for freedom. Can they call on your support against oppressive government in the pockets of pharmaceutical multinationals?
