A lot of people talking shit about both of these cars, but I bet not many here can afford either one lol.

Also that hellcat driver likely had crap tires on and didn't even warm up his wheels. He should be at least running low 11's and borderline 10's. Still not enough to beat the plaid though. You would need a Demon with its full drag setup to beat that Plaid.

You'd expect a 700hp hellcat to be able to put it's power down better than that I'm sure it could have done better. The tesla has a great time/trap speed. They are very consistent

Two things, because I couldn't resist commenting on this video.. That was nowhere near what the charger hellcat can do in a quarter mile. That track looked slick and that start was horrendous for the charger, it didn't travel more than 10 feet for at least 2 full seconds. And even if it had a perfect start, it has about 300hp less than the tesla, and the tesla has all-wheel drive. So even on a perfect start, a 700-some horsepower rwd car similar in weight to a 1, 000-some horsepower car with awd would never stand a chance. But yes a tesla plaid beats everything and makes everyone look slow. Makes me actually consider getting an electric car sometimes.

There’s a video on you tube of the hell cat going against a model 3 Tesla (slowest Tesla made) and still got obliterated. You just can’t beat electric for speed, it’s automatic.
