Autistic Advocate, Mark Fleming - Building Inclusive ABA Treatment Teams - Promoting Autistic Voices in ABA. “The path to progress lies with inclusion of Autistic voices to help inform and revise existing practices. We’re releasing our “Hope Rabbit” as a fundraiser to hire 5 more Autistic Self-Advocates through the A. E. Wood Foundation to do just that. Created by Mysterious in Shanghai, designed and created by Autistic Artists, and 10% of all proceeds will go to the A. E. Wood Foundation.

The goal is to form pro-bono treatment teams that include autists, ensuring our voices are represented when fellow autists are receiving therapy. These autistic advocates will be available to assist ABA firms in treatment planning that includes autistic voices, which is an important step in unifying autists and behavior analysts. As we hire additional autistic advocates, we will form a high support need treatment team staffed with our autistic advocates and with experts. Through the establishment of this high support need treatment team, we will be available to provide expert help and connection for ABA firms around the world, who also want to be inclusive of autistic voices in their service-delivery. Nothing for us, without us.
