Ugh this video reminded me of how embarrassed I am to be from Texas sometimes. I really wish our state had legalized it before the Supreme Court ruling, but I'm very happy this happened altogether. Just remember not all Texans are conservative, unempathetic assholes

America was founded on the principle of freedom of religion. However religion should never interfere with politics and shouldn't interfere with how people live their lives. Marriage being legal now is a big step to overcoming Christianity's grip on politics

I'm proud that my country (the netherlands) was the first country in the world to legalize same sex marriage in 2001

I'm 23 years old and I remember growing up during this so vividly. I never thought it would happen but then it did. I rewatch stuff like this all the time and cry every time. I'm so thankful to be American. It's amazing to me that there will be young LGBT children one day who will never know anything else besides marriage equality, it will never even be a question to them like it was for us. God bless.
