2025 Honda NT1100 First Ride Review - All the changes tested

The 2025 Honda NT1100 was announced recently and having previously tested and enjoyed the touring machine, I put out a video previewing all the changes. I was also invited to Andalucía for the European launch, so for the first ride review video, I wanted to look at whether those changes have had a material effect on the new 2025 Honda NT1100. This is a great review by someone that really knows the older model. So they can provide valuable insight not just specs. I have the current model and now plan to upgrade to get the IMU, improved DCT, adaptive suspension, and the new screen plus I love the new styling especially in blue! Note you do not need to have a headset to use Carplay. When prompted to connect a headset hold down the ‘back’ button on the left bar for a few seconds. Then Carplay will start up without a headset.

Would suit my needs perfectly...but honda sold me the wonderful benefits of Shaft drive on my vfr1200, (they were right) and now I've got to forget that. I'm sure I will, but not quite yet. Great update Tony, thank you.

Great review. I'm upgrading my 2023 DCT for the new 2025 DCT. Can't wait. Screen was a niggly issue, now fixed. DCT was good already, now even better (Sport II 😉). Switchgear is easy to use. Yes, wireless CarPlay would be nice, but I can live without it. Thanks to Honda for listening to us. Role on February.

I love Honda motorcycles, they can be bland but l prefer that agricultural look, like early BMW, practical, sensible.
The NT 1100CC looks and preforms wonderfully, would l prefer shaft, probably but at these prices l could happily clean my chain.

Outstanding video, i really enjoyed that! It looks loke such a good iteration on the original, they've addressed the issues i had with the earlier model (whuch ultimately stopped me buying it, and now I'm not in a position to). It absolutely amazes me that Honda wont sort that car play situation, it's just software!

I was in the market for an NT last year and it was your video that persuaded me to head for my test ride, all the other testers didn't do the bike justice, subsequently i purchased it on the spot, loved the bike but as is well reported there are some small niggles with it, so it's at the dealership now traded in, and the new 2025 model odered for 1st thanks for your encouraging review im now looking forward to my new steed and counting the days 👍

You just need a £5 USB Bluetooth dongle to plug in. This will make the CarPlay work without need for a Bluetooth helmet. This is what I’ve done on my Wing.Simples !
Just pair the dongle as rider headset. Note-the dongle needs to be A2DP compliant.
