ΗΠΑ.

BREAKING NEWS.
GREECE. CYPRUS. TURKEY. RUSSIA. USA. SYRIA. IRAN. ISRAEL.
As reported by Russian media, the new leadership of Syria has finally given permission and Russian ships that have been waiting for many days anchored off the coast of Syria are gradually entering the port of Tartus, where they are moored to receive and transport the military equipment that Russia is withdrawing from various bases and outposts that it had created, mainly in the northeastern part of the country.
As they write, this permission was given after an agreement was reached through the Russian military attaché in Turkey, which, as is known, has a direct and close relationship with the new leadership that now controls Syria, since it is the one that supported it and continues to support it.
Thus, the loading of the Russian ships with the military equipment that will be transported has already begun, with their destination being unknown, although it is believed to be Libya.
Now, regarding the two major bases that Russia has in the country, the naval base in Tartus and the air base in Hmeimim, they are still operating normally, as according to Russian media, negotiations between Moscow and Damascus are continuing, with all possibilities being possible, namely the eventual achievement of an agreement but also the refusal of the new leadership to allow the Russians to remain on Syrian soil. In any case, both the Hmeimim air base and the naval base in Tartus are considered important for the Russian side, in terms of their presence in the Mediterranean and the resupply of their forces in Africa, so there is still a long way to go until we see what the final outcome of the talks will be, with the Russians currently having as their priority the removal of the material from the remaining bases that were closed with their ships.
