I love the 80's music for the synth and how refined the sound was. My opinion is no other decade can touch the 80's. The British had the best sound of all, and loaded with synth, again my opinion.

Some songs I didn't recognize, but that could be from all the years that have passed. Wonderful trip down Memory Lane. The 80's were when I was a teenager and life was much less complicated.

Unless I missed it but Bizarre Love Triangle and Just Cant Get Enough not being on a list disqualifies the whole thing

Though a song may be New Wave and Synth Pop, I differentiate between New Wave and Synth Pop designations. One has a more encompassing arc that includes eighties synth pop; whereas the other is more limited to primarily synth instrumentation and may or may not be a song from the eighties. So Dead Man's Party, Mexican Radio, Melt With You, etc would be under the New Wave banner but not the Synth Pop banner for me. And of course, there are tweeners or imperfect fits such as A Little Respect, Personal Jesus, One Thing Leads To Another, etc.
