SQLDUMPER.EXE window opening and closing when launching or working in Revit
When launching or working in Revit in Windows 11, a Command prompt window referencing SQLDUMPER.EXE appears and disappears every 1 or 2 seconds.
- Remove Steel Connections add-on
Close Revit.
Navigate to C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Revit ####\AddIns\SteelConnections.
Rename Autodesk.SteelConnectionsDB.addin to Autodesk.SteelConnectionsDB.OLD.
Rename Autodesk.SteelConnectionsUI.addin to Autodesk.SteelConnectionsUI.OLD.
Start Revit.

As of September 9, 2024, this worked for my Revit 2021 software. I've tried tinkering with the solutions on the Autodesk forums (deleting and re-installing SQL Express, and almost editing my registry, and almost doing a clean reinstall of Revit), but this one was the only solution that worked for me. IF IT STILL PERSISTS JUST DELETE THE STEELCONNECTIONS FOLDER. IT WILL MUCH MORE HELP WITH YOUR PROBLEM
