I moved over 15 times throughout my childhood and early adulthood—the physical location doesn’t mean much if it’s safe, warm and dry. What matters is who YOU are and who you have around you. I went from being a severely depressed kid who barely knew my parents in a 5 bedroom mortgaged house to a very connected to my family child in a rental just a year later. My parents are my best friends and I’m 28 today in a great position, don’t get too caught up in the American dream milestones cause a better dream could exist just beyond that.
