I am encouraged today when I see and hear a few pastors and individual Christians realizing the way forward is to look back and take lesson. That the way forward is not some elaborate new church 'program' or a more watered down philosophical message from the pulpit. That the way forward is to strip away all the theatrics and tall foreheaded prognosticating and plainly and boldly and resolutely speak the truth of the word of God and the salvation in Jesus alone. There is strength to be found in simplicity, so won't you join with me in stripping away all the 'noise' of this chaotic world that we each might better hear God speaking what we each need to hear from Him?

I find each day I have no desire to turn on news, or listen to social media lies, even the tv is perverted and full of corruption and greed, I only desire God's Word to feed me, teach me and lead me . Thank you Brother Alistair, keep preaching the Solid Truth without compromise ! We need more like you so many on u tube want to itch ears ;(

I don't think that will be heard with joy as most sermons might. Good on you. Be filled with the Holy Spirit. Ask to be filled, and you will receive. Pay the price of discipleship. Fill yourself with God's words so He can speak to you and through you. Grow in grace. Trust God to use you and His words that are in you to reach others. (Love your wife.) Remember, Jesus Christ is Lord. Please, forget the Romans road. You are introducing people to the Son of God. They must hear Him for themselves.
