Watch this short video on how we want to help, and separate technology (Snappier) that we have developed (and enhancing) to support the purchasing of locally grown food with food assistance program dollars (SNAP, WIC, etc.).

According to studies performed by the American Diabetes Association, poverty is correlated to high rates of obesity and diabetes.

The research found that counties with poverty rates greater than 35% have obesity rates of 145% greater than wealthy counties.

And, approximately 14% of U.S. counties have more than 1 in 5 individuals using the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
