Personally, the US action of cutting foreign aid is actually good. It forces other countries that the US is giving aid to, including the Philippines, to rely on themselves. Thus, we're forced to innovate, allocate budgets properly, support local products and services, etc. because there's no big daddy America to help us. In other words, cutting foreign aid forces us to become self-reliant. It opens up new opportunities for us. By cutting foreign aid, we become more independent. For me, it's a good thing.
