This is actually my mom’s best friend… He unfortunately passed 10/29/24 From cancer. I miss him much. He was a wonderful man to be around. He was my family and we celebrated with him every holiday for the last 6 years!!! Mr.Lewis I love you. RIP. 💙

I went to his memorial service yesterday. Was a beautiful service where many people spoke of the impact he had on their lives. His zeal for Christ, the transformation of his mind and heart over the decade, him going back to reach out to the homeless folks he knew. Brother Marcus, you are the epitome of 2 Timothy 4:7! He is rejoicing with Christ in Heaven today! 🎉🎉🎉

My daughter is at Bible college in Baton Rouge and she just called me on the phone and said, "Mom have you watched the new Delafe yet????" lol I told her "I'm literally 56 minutes into it right this second and how amazing it is!!"

I remember when I was in my addiction, and living on the streets, I remember actually saying out loud, "God, I know I'm going to die an addict, and I'm good with that." I don't know that person anymore..I know that was me, but now I just feel sorry for her. What a beautiful testimony this man has..

The Lord is so intentional and faithful. He allowed Marcus to tell his testimony that will inspire people for years to come of God's faithfulness. Marcus is now rejoicing with the Lord, no more pain or suffering. He is home!!! Praise God!!! Hallelujah!!!

I have listened to so many testimonies and some have brought me to tears. Mr Marcus, your testimony has me evaluating myself. Have I truly been kind towards people. I’ve told myself “not to help the homeless by giving them money because they are going to get drugs”, we all have our struggles. Thank you Mr. Marcus for reminding me that “we all have fallen short of the glory of God. I can’t even say what my struggle is. For that I apologize to the homeless people for being judgmental. I have been very rebellious towards God. in keeping the Lords commandments. I claim I love the Lord, but my mouth is often filthy. Sometimes the thoughts that run through my mind, I have to quickly ask God for forgiveness and to take these thoughts away. God bless you Mr. Marcus. May God be with you always. Ah Marcus is a wonderful friend of ours! We met him and serve with him at our church. He’s such a kind and gentle man, really knows and loves God’s Word and people! He’s a real gift!
