There is one thing you must know. Variations occur when some words are pronounced by stressing some syllables of the word more than the others as one changes the accent. So it's not right to say that some pronunciations are wrong. Depending on American or British accents (Indian being inherited from the latter) there could be different ways of pronouncing same word and it is acceptable. One such example would be the word adult. See how the pronunciation differs between British and American.
