I love old American cars . They had so much character.

I grew up as a kid in these neighborhoods around this time, and vividly remember going to that Pioneer Chicken (5:15) every once in a while. What's in my mind and what I'm looking at here are very different. This all looks ancient, but doesn't really seem that long ago in my memories. And yes, the cars! Love it every time a classic Mustang pops up. Many thanks for sharing.

Until time travel is possible, people need to understand how crucial it is to record our world.

I use to go to that Denny's on sunset back in 1986 after Gazzarri's.

All dark b.s. aside, this is great and a very nice trip down memory lane and a great look at a simpler less complicated time!

This made my day!😁...Thank you!🎈🍾 One of the events that allowed a safe and healthy birth for me, at Sunset Kaiser in 1972, was my family eating at that Pioneer Chicken!....My fam had been told my mom had a false alarm and to go back home. Stopping there kept them close and she went into true labor while eating. So great to finally see it!!🎉💃🏽

Is anybody else looking for themselves in these films. I spent 30 years all over these locations. And my parents for 30 years before that. They appear like dusty old dreamy memories to me. I can even fill in the other senses.

Very cool. Love 35mm film. Looks so much better than all those videos shot in the 80's and 90's.

I remember a bus strike in '79, and I had to hitchhike from West Hollywood to (Fairfax at Santa Monica Blvd)
work in Century City. Sometimes a co-worker would give me a ride back after work, but I had a couple odd experiences hitchhiking home in the evening.

This is so nostalgic and I didn’t live in that time. This brought me to tears and I don’t even know why considering that I am 17 now. I believe in past life but it would be a really short time between back then and now for me to be alive right now. The more realistic reason I can find is that I am such a big fan of 70’s/80’s music, movies, style, and everything for that era makes me nostalgic.

My wife's dad talks about the 70's all the time, it was cool the first couple times he talked about it but now it's been 20 years and he still talks about it and it's starting to get kind of old....How many times can your tell your son in law you had a 71' Hemicuda over and over and over?
