Which classic Disney animated movies are being remade?

The recent remake of "Beauty and the Beast" is just the beginning. From "The Lion King" to "Aladdin" to "Snow White" and more, Disney is planning a ton of live-action remakes over the next decade.

As much as I love Tim Burton, I'd like to see a NON-Tim Burton version of Alice in Wonderland, following her original journey. Give it the childlike wonder version we remember as kids, but still with an air of danger and excitement adults could get into. Just a thought.

This is nice. But I'm guessing this means traditional animation and fresh ideas are dead for Disney.

I'd love to see Hercules, Pocahontas and The Hunchback of Notre Dame made! Those were great Disney movies. Let's not forget Tangled and Frozen too.

As much as I love Aladdin, I'm not sure how I feel about a live action remake. Unlike all the other roles, the Genie IS Robin Williams. Having someone else play him wouldn't make him the Genie anymore.

I saw a random little mermaid trailer but has nothing to do with the cartoon.Not in the ocean or red hair. Though u can't make a movie when Ariel has to be in water the whole time...

Okay some of these sound really weird. I love Disney with all my heart and I can't wait for most of these remakes but...don't you think they're kinda overdoing them? One movie doesn't need two remakes with completely different plots. I don't want Disney to start focusing more on a live action franchise than their animated one

Princess and the Frog would be amazing to see live action version. The magical aspect and Cajun sense of the movie would be beautiful on the big screen. So many beautiful black woman you can cast as Tiana. Gugu Mbatha-Raw instantly comes to find. Please!
