Learn how to take advantage of the full output potential of the EcoFlow 220w bifacial solar panel.

Material used (purchased at my local Lowes):
90 degree Aluminum angle stock
(1) 1/16"x3/4" -6ft (for legs) each cut at 91.5cm
(1) 1/16"x3/4" -8ft (for cross bar) cut at 187.5cm
(3) 1/16"x1" -6ft (for frame) Top and bottom uncut, one cut into two 81.8cm pieces for the sides.
(12) metric zinc bolts
(12) metric wing nuts
(8) metric washers

***It's important to drill the holes in aluminum frame to precisely match the panel holes. I recommend marking them with a sharpie first starting with the top and bottom pieces. The holes for the stand can be similar to what is shown in the video but it doesn't have to be exactly the same as I did it.

I set up my panels on top of emergency Mylar blankets & it works great. Layout the blankets, secure them down with wooden strips on all of the ends, then set up the EcoFlow 220W Bifacial panels on top.

Wow I really like your mounting idea. It's simple and easy to disassemble if you want go back to portable again. Instead of buying the EcoFlow solar angle guide I will probably just use a toy suction cup dart to set up the sun angle.

Thank you for the video. Please make a video on making the stand for the panel from the Lowe's materials. Great idea.

Excellent information. Thought the sunshade was pretty random and corny until I tried it. I consistently get a 12+watt boost with a $10 umbrella sunshade behind the panel (which is a lot cheaper than another 12watts in monocrystaline). Ended up with three of these, so headed to Home Depot to get some aluminum L-bar to copy your ingenious idea for a more permanent stand for one of the panels and will keep the other two portable. Thank you for taking the time to share some great ideas for inexpensive, but clearly effective upgrades!

Fantastic plan. I just made mine in about 30 minutes. Absolutely fantastic. So much more stable than the carrying case. Lightweight and easy to assemble. Thank you!

In theory, while a white towel or sheet isn't as good as a mirror or reflective object, it is still a good option if you're in a pinch. It can reflect enough light to get the back of the panel picking up some extra wattage.

Awesome, this is the best ive seen! I cant find the angle here in Joshua Tree so im running to Palm Springs to get them. I was hoping you could give me an idea on cost so im prepared. Thanks so much for the great video! Im saving it for specs and directions. You made my day!

I see how you made the stand. Great idea. I have done that with smaller panels. I noticed you drilled holes in the panels to connect the frame using wing nuts. That makes it much easier and sturdy. Obviously, it is okay to drill into the panels?

Not sure if the sun wasn't strong but i can get 220w out of my panel on grass without doing anything to improve the back panel here in the UK. I've never had my panel at such a low angle either, sure the panel is not faulty.

The mirror has to go underneath and parallel to the panel
