Making meals for people who aren't vegan isn't always easy, especially if they know you'll be making a vegan meal. It's like you say, hey, check out this vegan mango and all the sudden they hate mangoes. The word vegan for a lot of people means that the food will have no flavor, taste like water or just all around no way it can be good.

These vegan creamy pasta dishes will wow anyone, even if they are skeptical at first. It's two that I have made for family and friends often and I know that people in your life (or even you, if you are watching and a bit skeptical yourself) will love too!

Two small bits of info if you are watching the budget .... Buy a block of solid coconut Coconut milk is made up from around 10% solid and 90% water .... You can reconstitute a small portion of the block by adding water. It lasts for weeks in a block. You can also make it as creamy as you want. It is a fraction of the cost. And blitz up your own chick pea flour .... It is very easy to do and is around a tenth of the cost of bought versions. ;)

I made your Penne alla vodka so many times I have the recipe memorized. I add some vegan meatballs to the pasta. My husband is a huge meat eater, in fact anytime I am making a meatless dinner he cries out, "what am I going to do without meat?!!" Yet, when I make this pasta he never whines. In fact, he requests this dish, and has even contemplated going vegetarian because this dish has introduced him to how amazingly delicious vegan dishes can be. Thank you!!

Okay, I must get this out of the way, the first 3+ minutes of the video are excellent... the subtle background music, the gentle scraping sounds of the bowls, not a word from Andrew, the dropping & tapping sounds ALL together had me captivated. Well done!

I normally don't like asmr type recipe videos, but yours are paced perfectly. It's also very cute how you sneak the items into the frame. It's delightful. I'm not vegan, but I make your recipes sometimes! We enjoy watching! San Marzanos--yes!!! And buying them whole, then crushing yourself ensures quality--no pieces and parts.

I throw in some shaved fennel, home sun/oven dried tomatoes, zucchini, capers and for extra proteins and micronutrients a hand full of chickpeas. I don't care if it is not a classic dish, but it is richer and more filling.

For the shroom pasta I add some veggie meatless balls made from shrooms, shaved sweet potato, oats, nuts, scallions, bunch of fresh marjoram/thyme and some chickpea and flaxseed flour for binding and extra nutrition...

Andrew, I can't praise you enough for the amazing high-quality content you deliver. After watching a few videos, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this channel doesn't have seven figure subscribers. Keep up the great work, your videos are so incredibly visually pleasing!
I also can't stand mushrooms for the life of me, I just went ahead and justified it by saying that I am vegan, therefore I only eat plants :P
