Ryzen 7 4750G on B350 and B450 🤔

I managed to get my hands on the (OEM only) Ryzen 7 Pro 4750G and screwed around trying to get it to work, first on a B350 motherboard then on a B450. This video would have been much shorter had I planned ahead.

i was planning to do the same thing. You saved my time :) i have r5 1600af installed, i have a new build r5 3400g with asrock x300, planning to buy r7 4750g to my fatal1ty b450. Now i am searching the net for a good deal. Thank you.

I cant quite understand why so many people have problems with the AMD am4 stock coolers? When changing cpu i usually let the PC Run an hour under mid load (watching some series or YouTube videos) then power it off, unplug everything, Open it up, then unscrew the cooler and gently wobble and Spin the cooler (turning left turning right) Most of the time or will pop Up after second turn and i can remove the cooler without a hassle.

I doubted I could run 4750g with the Asrock motherboard, your video helped me. By the way, I recommend that you sell one of the processors and buy a table. :)

I have been eyeing the 4750G. Out of luck I grabbed your exact same Motherboard because i planned to move my 3700X to ITX but didnt want to buy X570 because its not worth it yet.
I just landed on your video searching for what motherboard supports the 4000 series APU and bam. I have all the pieces. The 4750G are not rare yet because theres not many buyers.

The info at Asrock now says "Supports Ryzen 5000 series CPU." for 4.20

Theres a new bios update for my gigabyte mobo, im going to try it now on my b350 might as well try it if you seen yours getting an update

i wrote asus an email and asked if the 4750g will be supported on my x470-i and they said the bios update for renoir support will come in january or february

I had the same problem with the paste turning to glue. Glad it wasn't because I used bostik by mistake

I am having issues with the display...doesnt show anything. I am using a B450 Carbon Pro Max Wifi and a Ryzen 4650G...you had something like that happening to you?

How are the temps, for me it idles at ~40 but spikes to 85-90 in a matter of seconds, and the cooler doesn't even get hot so I wanted if there's some fabrication issues between the die and the IHS.

Hello, I see the bios update ( 5.00) for it but nothing in the title of the of the motherboard (asrock b450m pro4 4650g) for 4000 apu, can I still update the bios ? thanks in advance.
