I lived off and on in the DR for the past 12 years. My favorite area is the Piantini area in Santo Domingo. DR is my second home, I love the people there.

This dude went to some of the most dangerous hoods in Latin America without realizing it probably. El gualey, los minas in the capital of santo domingo is not a place a would recommend ANYBODY to visit, day or night time. To walk around those Barrios at night you are LITERALLY risking your life. BTW I'm dominican, I'm just calling it like it is. I have to give this dude a like for going into those places, he earned it lol

I'd like to visit U.S someday soon to see my relatives and friends who live there. Even with all the tough stuff we handle, I wouldn't trade living here to living in U.S(plus can't stand the whole gun violence issue). I lived in Europe and it was ok but I just love the simplicity and calm. That's priceless.💯🙌🇩🇴

I love Santo Domingo. The only thing I don’t like about it is the traffic. But on Sundays it’s not as bad. You would like the Piantini and Bella Vista neighborhoods. Peace!

I really hate how certain people comment about DR putting it as if DR was the most dangerous country in the world, DR compared to most countries in Latin America DR is heaven y'all and have the best food of all time.

I definitely miss the D.R., Moved to the US (ATL) when I was 5 & I definitely miss it. I’ve gone back a couple of times after that but I def wanna spend more time there & with the rest of my family that still live there ❤️

I took my 1st trip to santo domingo in sept of 2022. Went back from Dec 31st to Jan 5th. I'm headed back apartment hunting Jan 27th to Feb 3rd. Great place. Damn this video makes me ready for my trip. I'm writing this Jan 24th

I stayed in Santo Domingo Este next to the Hipodromo. Used to go to Boca Chica for my massages. I absolutely love it there.
