I went to a funeral in first grade and my teacher wanted to make feel better when I came back to school, so she got everyone in the class to write a message on a coloured piece of paper. My favourite card was this girl who wrote
"dear Heidi,
sorry your grandpa died.
Today we saw a fire truck!!"
And then she had drawn a picture of stick figure her holding a fire truck hose.

My friend when he was in 5th grade came up with the rap line, "My name is Bryan and I'm here to say, I'm the greatest raper in the U.S.A." We couldn't understand why the teacher was laughing when reading his rap poem until he pointed out that he misspelled rapper.
