Easily one of the most heartbreaking moments from the show. It would have been so easy for him to just stay. He could have been happy. Giving that up to go back and try and save everyone else is a choice I don't think many could make.

The ability it to animate awkward/uncomfortable dancing (due to previous experiences of fighting each other in mind of Ekko) yet slowly turning to something to more intimate is something indescribable.

It's so wonderful to see how happy she is.

I've seen alot of anime, and animated series and movies across my 30 years.
But never, have I been this unexpectedly hit by the powerful combination of story, animation and music, as I was the second they started dancing. Tears just started flowing. Not hard sobbing or ugly crying, but just tears of, well, a mixture of happiness and sadness all in one. Powder has not known true happiness, and has seen misery after misery, loss after loss across her character development, so to be given this small moment in time, in an alternate timeline, where she's happy, and normal, was too overwhelming I think.

This is the single best scene (as long as the music goes on, so including the next scene), I've ever seen, period.
The details are immaculate. S1 and S2 ep. 7, has an epic Jinx/Powder and Ekko moment. Both a Dance if you will, the reflection of time, one with Ekko's Watch, the other on borrowed time, the 4 frames per second animation doing the s2 episode.
In isolation, it's a fine episode. With context, it's immaculate.
