WTF do you expect, A country's political leader SHOULD NOT be planning and directing military operations under any circumstance! They don't have the expertise and knowledge to direct troops and resources. That's what military generals and operations planning staff are what they are trained for and why they are there! Political leaders are supposed to make allies with countries that can provide effective training, intelligence and resources, gather support on the world stage and motivate their people. Zelenskyy is doing EXACTLY what he should be doing and his generals are doing EXACTLY what they should be doing. Whenever a political leader tries directing military operations its always a shit show.

Im not pro Ukrainian, but one should admit someones ability not on his ethnic or political background, but on his or her tendency to do it. Able generals are kept away from camera and both sides, and are replaced by propagandists, its the normal way of war. Russia has its general surovikin.
