Rising living cost in Europe

As the UK continues to grapple with a soaring cost-of-living crisis, food-bank usage in the across the country is rising. More people are struggling to feed their families and heat their homes.

Lape Olarinoye spoke to charities who are struggling to meet the demand of support required.

Ironic that the Caption reads 'Rising living cost in Europe', but only concentrates on UK. This happens to be a global issue and the UK government are not dealing with the matter in hand like they should. But i am sure this is happening in other parts of Europe too. Can we see a little more of what is happening in other European countries regarding the cost of living crisis? Please!

How are these people vetted to get Food from food banks. Some people will be genuine, but do you follow others to the pub, and football stadiums are never empty.

In Europe very poor people receive financial assistance from their government, in Turkey???

The commentator says that everyone is feeling the pinch. Not quite, members of Parliament and the royal family are two that spring to mind. Perhaps if they WERE affected, something would be done about it.

I just long for when I don't wake up the next morning and finally am free from this hell and I wouldn't put much plans in to living tbh because the prices will just get higher this time next year you'll probably be talking £4 being the cheapest food even in lidls and aldis and 20 days at most when topping your leccy by a hundred none of this will ever be going down it's just the fact now the world's getting rid of the poor with famine and making room for the world of tomorrow where we'll all be mostly dead and the rich prospering beyond their wildest dreams welcome to a new dark era people
