Probably one of your best yet! A good mix of frustrating stuff, a bit of sailing stuff, some new towns worth exploring, Brexit and some choppy seas! Keep them coming!

A lot of happenings but this is pretty cool experience! Thanks for sharing! Were inspired to go on traveling anywhere in the world after we finish refitting our 65' catamaran!

Your rev counter :- consider this, the rev counter is typically controlled from your alternator - the field coil in the alternator controls the amount of charge output. If your batteries are fully charged, or indeed your solar is outputting a voltage high enough for the alternator to think no charging is required then the alternator stops charging. If the alternator stops charging then the output to the rev counter also stops . This happens to my Volvo engine when I went from wet cell to lithium …. Easy way to tell if you switch on some high loads on the boat and in a short time (depending on how big the load is) the rev counter comes back on. Then switch off all the high loads, wait for the alternator to charge the battery back up and the rev counter stops. This may help you see a correlation - best of luck and wish you well

Ah the joys of Brexit! Some folks rely on the right of passage according to maritime law and register as crew on the ship rather than stamp in and out everywhere. But….. don’t blame me if you end up in the clink!

I don’t understand, you left france to italy, both Schengen, so why do you have to stamp out of france and into italy, doesn’t make any sense
