Apparently once when I was a kid, when we went to my grandparents house, I went over to my dad who was talking to my grandad; I looked at my grandad, then at my dad, then back at my grandad, and then burst into tears because I couldn't tell them apart lol

This honestly made me cry. I'm an adult now and whether as a kid or as I am currently, I would always know my mother's scent as well as the warmth of her embrace. It may be peculiar but even if I got friendly hugs, it doesn't give off the same feelings with my mom's. My mother's passed away 5 years ago and this really made me miss her much.
