this method is extremely damaging to the nails. tried this once and it would "broke" unexpectedly hence causing the nail surface to look really rough and you would try to buff but it makes the nail even thinner

Gel come off so easily I've just broken my 2nd nail after a week and a half and may have to go back to get a repair again!
