Strong's Definitions: πίστις pístis,  pis'-tis; from G3982; persuasion, .. Persuasion actually makes the most sense in Hebrews 11:1 but this study needs more in depth study. It would be nice if you could translate Hebrews 11: 1 And see what you come up with if you can even read Greek let alone translate it.

A state of being soomeone...so that is the moun connection. It is difficult to understand how this isn't a verb. Responses are not nouns. See? Grace and love too, are nouns. Love makes sense because 1 John 4 tells me God is love. I suppose we become belief? Jesus is truth....ugh...Hebrew is the Verb language so that all makes sense. There seems to be a huge message awaiting us in this. Again, you mention "virtues" and "works" but those are verbs, these are not.
